第一次实习教育者培训

We are delighted to invite you to the 365be体育首页 to develop your skills as a Practice Educator amongst colleagues from different Trusts 和 Organisations.

符合我校学生的教学方法, we do require you to undertake a small amount of pre-reading before you attend the course.This enables our sessions to be more interactive 和 limits time spent in didactic teaching. 的读前活动 & course preparation should not take you more than 30 minutes to complete but we do ask that you ensure that you have done this before attending.

We do not routinely provided printed course materials, however you are welcome to 打印你自己的 如果你喜欢，可以在训练期间使用.

Our 2 day training introduces any Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, 谁以前从未有过学生或者有一段时间没有学生了, 成为一名实践教育者.There is no minimum length of time since registration required to undertake this training.

• Critically reflect on 和 evaluate the quality of practice education learning 

• Critically reflect on experience 和 formulate action plans to improve future practice

The Worcester Way (for new Worcester practice educators trained elsewhere)

In order to reduce the amount of information delivered in a didactic manner (和 therefore increase your engagement 和 enjoyment), we do require you to undertake a small amount of pre-reading before you attend the course. This basic course information should not take you more than 30 minutes to complete but we do ask that you ensure that you have done this before attending.

We do not routinely provided printed course materials, however you are welcome to 打印你自己的 如果你喜欢，可以在训练期间使用.

This training is for Educators who are experienced in providing placements but new to the Worcester course 和 includes:

实践教育者更新培训

In line with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists 和 Chartered Society of Physiotherapy legislation, 实践教育工作者需要定期参加最新培训. The 365be体育首页 recommends that training is attended every two years 和 may not be able to place students with Practice Educators who have not completed this training.

而你只需要每隔一年更新一次, you are welcome to book on one of these per year to maintain 和 develop your skills.

All updates will contain a brief overview of documentation 和 assessment, 以及对当代安置的概述.

Managing Challenges in Practice will follow a participant-led format 和 enable educators to discuss 和 problem-solve any particular challenges they have faced recently.  这些可能包括, 但不限于, 支持困难学生, 支持有额外学习需要的学生, 挑战那些超出预期的学生.

Facilitating Adult Learning will include an overview of adult learning theory 和 consider how this can be put to best use within placement settings.  Participants will consider different aspects of adult learning theory including focusing on themselves as adult learners.  Common assumptions will be discussed along with critical appraisal of the evidence in relation to learning styles.
